Your requirements -
our technology
Our many years of expertise in visitor frequency measurement enable us to select the optimal sensor technology for every application – tailored to your individual requirements. We rely on proven technologies and combine them flexibly to collect data on visitor movements with the highest precision and reliability.
Crosscan uses market-leading sensors from established manufacturers such as Intenta, AIRIA, Hella Aglaia, Xovis, Irisys, Brickstream and many more, and makes the collected data available to our customers via our platform. In addition, there are interfaces to systems for personnel planning and merchandise management in order to provide our customers with targeted support in the management and development of their locations.
All sensors used can be seamlessly connected to our own analysis platform. Thanks to open interfaces (API), easy integration into existing systems is possible at any time – for maximum data availability and efficiency.

Smart Sensors
E-commerce KPIs, now also available for physical retail stores.
Our Crosscan 3D Vision Smart Sensor is the latest and most powerful people counting generation in our product portfolio. Using artificial intelligence, it determines visitor frequencies and movement data in retail properties and other buildings with high precision.
Measure your physical retail funnel with the analyses you already know online. Now available with integrated functions such as gender and age detection, Re-ID for the length of stay at the POS as well as staff exclusion.
Our developers' deep understanding of the entire system allows them to create customised software that is perfectly suited to the use case. For your data, analyses and decisions.
100% GDPR compliant, of course. With a high level of expertise, extensive experience and an innovative spirit, we are among the best in the field of computer vision and visitor analysis.
Uncomplicated data transport without complex structures is implemented within our system architecture. This is easy to set up and can be expanded as required.
Whitepaper - 3D-Sensor Technology
Technical basics of visitor counting – counting systems on the market and decision-making aids for brick-and-mortar retailers.
Key figures and benchmarks are becoming increasingly important in brick-and-mortar retail. Only when retailers know how they are performing compared to the competition and understand customer needs can they optimise the use of goods and staff and increase customer satisfaction. Measuring visitor frequency forms the basis of these KPIs and benchmarks for identifying and exploiting potential.

Features & Benefits

3D-Sensor Systems
Our 3D sensors are easily integrated solutions for numerous applications in the field of high-precision and data protection-compliant measurement of visitor frequencies or dwell times. The sensor's functionality is based on proven algorithms and the stereovision principle and can also be used in multi-sensor tracking for seamless data collection over large areas.
In conjunction with embedded processors and sensors, these systems offer the resulting advantage of providing high-precision depth of field based on point clouds with height information and enabling detailed object classification.
FAQ
The configuration is easily carried out remotely via an intuitive web interface, and thanks to its diverse interfaces, the sensor can be easily connected to higher-level systems, such as our cloud-based analytics software, where it enables detailed evaluation of customer and visitor statistics.
Numerous other features – particularly for use in the retail sector or for managing visitor areas – make the sensor an essential tool for analysing people flows. The high accuracy of the information means that important key figures such as skimming and conversion rates can be reliably determined.
Yes, the 3D sensor can be used in conjunction with an additional mounting kit to count the number of passers-by and the length of time people spend in front of a shop window. In combination with visitor counting in the entrance area, this allows the capture/turn-in rate to be determined. All data collected for analysis is transmitted in real time to our retail analytics platform.
Yes, thanks to its robust IP65-certified design, the sensor delivers accurate counting and motion data – even under difficult environmental conditions. An RJ45 outdoor connector provides a simple Ethernet connection that guarantees reliable data transmission. A swivelling mounting bracket is available as an option, allowing for flexible installation.
The sensor is suitable for mounting heights from 2.2 to 6.0 metres, whereby it is automatically calibrated. Depending on the ceiling situation, various mounting options are also possible, such as surface-mounted or flush-mounted.

Edge Devices – Embedded Software
The sensor technology is equipped with software that maps your desired use cases – the data collected is highly accurate and differentiated. This ensures data-based observations and decisions.
